Alright, well I picked up one of these at a Hunting Show here in BC yesterday for $75 canadian + tax, and I was wondering how good it is compared to other folding knives, as this is my first folding knife.
Also, how good is the AUS 8 stainless steel the blade is made of?

It’s the Zytek handle one, not aluminum, and without TiNi coating on the blade.

I’m looking to get a folding knife to carry around on the day to day to replace my junky one, and a hunting knife for when i go camping later this summer.
For folding knives I’ve been recommended the Buck Iceman, its the right size, and I do want a serrated edge on the bottom, but i dont really know what im looking for. Ive been told a carbon steel blade is the way to go.
As for a hunting knife i’ve been recommended the Gerber profile. I do want a fixed blade, something thats durrable and isn’t going to break on me.
Any help is appreciated.

Now some here may say that this only applies to imported spring assisted folders, which is what they want you to think. But if you read the entire report it would make ALL folding knives no matter where they were made be classified as stiwtchblades.
