I don’t mean stabbing it into the toaster, but when you fish toast out.

Yes, it’s possible, but just unplug it real quick.
Yes – make sure its unplugged
why don’t you try it and find out!?
As long as you dont touch any metal, you’re fine. But if you accidentally touch the metal you could get shocked. It’s not likely and I never have but it is possible.
No, I doubt someone would get electrocuted by doing that as the coils are heat-diffusion, not electrical diffusion. But, better to be safe then sorry!
yes it is possible. But you’d have to be a real dumb ass to stick a knife in a toaster!!!!!!1!!!
dude , buy a new toaster , one that pops the toast up automatically.
Yes, if it’s still plugged in. By putting the knife into the toaster you run a chance of connecting with the coil circuitry and then it uses the knife as a way to complete the electrical path to ground.
it is the same as putting the knife in an outlet. Always unplug an electrical item before doing stupid things. if you are grounded by lets say standing in water or holding a faucet, you might die. Modern kitchens have GFI ground fault inteeruptes..the outlet with a button. GFI should save you. dont put metal in outlets, dont put a knife in toaster, unless you pull the plug. MIKE
mikeocj2 knows what he is talking about. Electrocution is a real possibility. The red hot heating element that you see in a toaster does have voltage on it and can shock you. Unplug the toaster please!
