Haterade asked:
Hi, I’m 16 years old and I live in a rough part of town in Colorado. Am I legally aloud to carry a concealed folding knife for protection purposes? What is the legal length the blade has to be? I tried searching google a bit, but anything I find is usually outdated by a few years. Thanks.

You have a choice. You either carry the knife, or you do not.
Do not allow corrupt government to decide this for you. Ignore all laws that violate your basic human rights.
Colorado’s laws on the issue are somewhat unusual. First, you can’t have a ballistic knife, gravity knife, or switchblade knife of any length. You also cannot carry a concealed weapon, including a knife. However, not all knives are weapons. A knife with a blade over 3.5 inches is typically considered a weapon, but shorter blades can be weapons, based on your intent to use it.
Check with your PD and ask them what you have to do to get a concealed weapons permit Most people think its only for handguns, but where I live you can get a CWP at any age! Most people just say hunting and target/sporting. But once you have the permit you can used for all purposes witch is Hunting, target/sporting and self defends. Also ask the PD about the laws in your state on knifes, do not let people tell you unless they are a lawyer a police officer what the laws are. The PD might have you call a lawyer or The STATE POLICE for the question but ask an Officer in your state this question. Do not risk your freedom for someone else.
I live in colorado 2, same age and situation. the knife laws for a concealed weapon is that the blade must be under 3.5 inches, anything over must be able to b seen
