As said it depends on the length but more so, on your perceived intentions to a cop. Do you have form (a record) for instance? Where are you stopped at, doing what, at what time?

If it&#039;s just a Swiss Army knife that people ordinarily carry with no criminal intent, then it should be ok.</description>

		<description>the law states a knife longer than 3 inches cannot be carried on a person in a pblic place but you have to consider that a man was arrested for carrying a 2 blade on a train (i think it was a eurostar) within a manicure set
So the safest thing is to not carry one on public transport
