Early BBQ (Smile) and your knives

Sometimes I get asked, “What do you do with your down time”? Most of what I do with my free time has to do with the outdoors, but one thing we do as a family is cook outside. My family is together and happy and nothing is worth more than that. To do this is not that hard at all. To simplify things, all you really need to do is dig a pit, in a circle fashion, ohhh maybe six, seven inches deep, Surround the pit with rocks, get a cooking grate and your all set. your fuel can be wood, charcoal or a mixture of both. If you dont have a fireset, to hang pots from something similar to the pic below can be made with “Green” sticks. Depending on what your cooking you dont even need a fireset. Using your knives is always fun as well.
