Depends on what you are hunting. 1st, you’ll need a hunting license. Equipment depends on what game you are hunting. Bird hunting you’ll need a shotgun, shotgun shells, game pouch.
Deer hunting you’ll need a rifle, shotgun, or bow/arrow depending on how you want to kill the deer.
You also need to know the season dates of the game you’re going after.
In Texas you almost always need to find a hunting lease or get invited to go hunting. There’s not that much public hunting land compared to other States.

…it is no wonder the rest of the world views Americans as gun toting, knife wielding, blood thirsty killing machines… Why don’t you try target shooting? Archery at a circular target? Any fool can blast a small animal with a 12 bore…no skill = no brains.
if i were you i would contact a wildlife and fisheries place they will be able to tell you what all you need in this free and wonderful country. i work overseas alot and i can tell you the UK is no place i would want to live, and most of the people i meet from there either don’t live there anymore or want to leave, ignore them
