    probably. they will grow though. im not sure how big a black tailed shark gets, but a black ghost knife fish gets around 5 inches long i think

    I really wouldn’t recommend it– BGK are fairly docile, and the Shark will likely take great enjoyment in toying with the Knife’s undulating fin… Really, I’d choose one or the other… the Black Shark could live out its entire life in a 30 gallon tank with no problem, while the BGK would need to be upgraded to a 55 gallon tank at the very least, so just keep that in mind…
