for maybe about 4-5 months.. after that they will have out grown the tank and would need to be moved up to like a 75 or 90
Oscars are not that aggressive so it would work out. Keep in mind you may have trouble feeding the knife since oscars are greedy fish. You may want to try to use a feeding stick to get the food down to him. Plan to eventually get a bigger tank since both of them will grow around a foot. if you plan to get a clown knife, keep in mind it will grow 40. A black knife will grow a lot smaller, but is much more shy.
